Residential Projects Completed
Katonah
From an untouched four‑acre wooded parcel, this project delivered a fully custom modern residence designed to immerse its owners in the surrounding landscape. The home features expansive wrap‑around decking, floor to ceiling windows showing sweeping forest views, and warm natural wood details that carry throughout the interior. With three bedrooms and four baths, the layout offers generous living space supported by a chef’s kitchen, a spa‑inspired European shower, and a custom hydraulic‑lift TV system. Built with meticulous craftsmanship, the home balances contemporary design with comfort, functionality, and a strong connection to nature.
Pound Ridge
J.A.C. Building & Development Group served as both project manager and general contractor for this three‑story modern farmhouse set within a wooded Westchester landscape. The home features large floor‑to‑ceiling windows, steel stair stringers, and a standing‑seam metal roof that reinforces its contemporary farmhouse character. Expansive views of the surrounding woods, along with sightlines toward the property’s barn and horses, create a strong connection to the natural setting. Built with disciplined craftsmanship and modern detailing, the residence delivers a refined blend of rural charm and clean, modern design.
Armonk
J.A.C. Building & Development Group served as the general contractor for this extensive transformation of a dated colonial into a fully modernized, expanded residence. The project doubled the home’s square footage and introduced a refined exterior palette featuring asphalt and copper roofing, cedar shingles, a new stone façade, and detailed architectural paneling.
Interior upgrades included new bedrooms and bathrooms on the second floor, along with a redesigned first floor featuring a new mudroom, a living room with a coffered ceiling, and a completely rebuilt front entrance. The result is a renewed colonial that blends traditional character with contemporary craftsmanship and modern functionality.
